I began working with Julie Bear Don’t Walk/ Lifeflow Consulting in 2023. In the first six months, I got clear on how I needed to change up my practice to make it more authentically me and in the next six months, I hired 2 massage therapists and one associate, and rebranded my business. I worked on my systems, reworked everything that wasn’t serving me or my patients. Although that particular associate didn’t work out, it did lead the way for the best associate ever and she’s gotten almost as busy as me in 2 months with the systems we use from Lifeflow consulting. I’m 100 percent sure that working with Julie allowed for true vision, holding me accountable, and getting comfortable to work deeply into a relationship with my business I’d never known before. I’m currently happier than ever in my professional life, I feel more confident as a leader and feel clear as to what the future holds. Julie Bear Don't Walk thank you for the marketing challenge this week. In my time between patients I scheduled all my posts out until mid May, wrote my next blog post, and wrote and scheduled my next newsletter. It's amazing what can be done in the little blips of time when I reframe my mindset around marketing. I also want to share some exciting news that I would typically keep to myself because I have money issues (inner work in progress). However, my mom encouraged me to share and be proud of my success. So... I am up 67.8% from this time last year! In January 2023 I was renting a room in an office suite that had TERRIBLE qi, but it was inexpensive and it got me out of the toxic group clinic I was previously working at while buying me time to find a more permanent location. I moved to my current location February 1, 2023, where I was able to completely make the space my own and have been told time and again that the feel of it is very nice. So in a sense, comparing January reports is like apples to oranges, but I don't want to crap on my progress so I am just looking at the full Q1 comparison. Thank you so much for everything you have taught us so far! I feel more confident in my skills as a practitioner and am not getting stuck in my head as much, flowing and as a result, seeing three patients an hour generally with ease and on-time I LOVE my work again and as a result, don't feel exhausted at the end of the day in the same way and have space to implement marketing and other things that I have been on my to do list forever. Little shifts like opening up new intakes for booking on JANE...2 new patients booked within 24 hours and two more since then. Using some phrases and charting faster (still more work to do here) I sold more herbs and supplements in November than ever. Working with you over the last year plus has transformed my practice. I feel confident, empowered and in love with my work again. I've gotten the support I need through hiring an admin and am now seeing and helping more people even as I have gradually eliminated insurance and move towards an all-cash practice. I have goals that I am excited and inspired to implement next year. Oh, and love my formula too! In January 2023, I opened my clinic immediately after I got my acupuncture license. I was technically ready as an acupuncturist (with 15 years of study) at that time, but I am not ready as a business owner.
Julie helped me ramp from 40 patients a week last October(2023) to 70-80 patients (sometimes even 100 patients) a week October 2024. Julie knows the acupuncture business so well and her system really works. She is always cheering, and I have learnt a lot from her in the past year's coaching program, and the money I invested in her coaching program is really worthy. My clinic also grew from one woman show to me and my full time receptionist and I am working to hire another acupuncturist. I can't say enough thanks to Julie for the help I received in her coaching program. Next year, I am still continuing to use Julie as my coach.
