You are a visionary acupuncturist who is ready to grow your team & love leading your team
You are ready to grow your impact, and you have clinical team members, or are ready to hire an Associate. But nobody told you how to have “clarifying conversations” so that the Qi of your clinic team feels as good as your treatments do to your patients. When it’s time for you to own your potency as a heart-centered, effective, and profitable leader, the Lifeflow Leadership Program is here.

Lifeflow Leadership
Small Group Coaching For Visionary Practitioners Committed to Growing Their Impact with an Invested Clinical Team
Grow a sustainable team culture that is in line with Chinese Medicine principles—you ALL being in the generative cycle of Qi, Time, and Money.
My Lifeflow Leadership Small Group Coaching Program provides the building blocks of a cohesive, profitable, and nourishing multi-practitioner clinic
Lifeflow Leadership Small Group Coaching is a program for practitioners who are ready to expand their team / to cultivate authentic, human-centered leadership skills to better lead the team they have. These program participants understand that they need more support to help meet the needs of their community, and are ready to move beyond doing it all by themselves or with only a single office assistant. By team, I mean both administrative employees, as well as clinical employees—often another Acupuncturist, or Clinical Team Member (massage therapist, nutritionist, functional medicine practitioner, etc.). Typically, people in this program are navigating the landscape of hiring, leading, and retaining an office manager, a clinical employee, or a combination of the two.
Some of the major issues we address in this group include: how to ensure the DNA of the brand you’ve developed is felt through ALL of your employees, even when you are not in the building. How do you convey the “magic” that you built your clinic with, when you aren’t doing all the hands on work? How do you ensure that your office staff understands that they are part of the care team, in the way they communicate with and help patients with administrative tasks? How do you help your Clinical Employees provide a consistent, heartfelt experience that is in keeping with your vision and commitments while honoring the fact that they are a human being as well? How do you fill a Clinical Employee’s schedule? How do you have a “clarifying conversation” in which everyone feels better at the end? How do you recalibrate your team qi when there is an upset (because there will be upsets—it's what humans do!).
Here’s How We Do It:
Internal capacity skill building so that you have the energy and resources to enjoy leading your team and to be truly supported by them.
Interviewing, hiring, training, leading, and retaining a great team. How to keep the qi flowing within your team, without you trying to make everyone happy while you question why you expanded in the first place? (Was it really easier to do it all yourself?)
Marketing your practice to fill your Associate’s schedule. How to speak to your clinic’s ideal patients, without them having to see YOU.
Team flows—meeting rhythms, meeting structures, goal setting, skill building, developing a shared vocabulary for navigating being human together.
Cultivating a healthy team environment, no matter what kind of families everyone grew up in, and what kind of communication adaptations those created. It is possible to design a healthy culture where there is productivity, mutual respect and inspiration.
All the math and logistics that go along with hiring and expanding. Yes, sometimes the creativity is in solving the story problem of growth. Pay structures, vacation days, bonuses, CEU allowances, all the practical things that impact your bottom line. (Not the only thing that impacts your bottom line, but an important consideration!)
All the paperwork that goes along with expansion—contracts, noncompetes, employee handbooks, conversation guidelines.
Lifeflow Leadership is for you if:
You are maxed out as a solo practitioner, and you are ready to hire a clinical team member
You have a team that you don’t LOVE leading. Some conversations need to be had that you are avoiding, because you want everyone to feel good in your clinic—but it’s sort of coming at the expense of you feeling good.
You are ready to start a family and need clinical support in place to take maternity leave
You are sick of never having sick days, or vacation time without it really impacting your bottom line
You have new ideas about how you want to practice, and you’ve built a great practice—where are you going to find the time to develop your next idea?
You’ve had team members in the past and it was…less than satisfying
You bought a practice and inherited a team and are still finding your management legs and style
You hired a team to be more profitable and help more patients, but you feel like you are working twice as hard and your profits aren’t showing it
You are afraid of hiring an Associate because you’ve heard so many horror stories! (What if they take all your ideas and start their own practice and take the patients with them?!)
You have no can’t figure out why your Associate / clinical team members are not retaining patients. You need a system for helping them be successful.
Program Details
3x a month Small Group Coaching Calls with Julie (limited to a maximum of seven people per group). There are three different opportunities for joining the group: Tuesdays at 10:00am CST, Thursdays at 11:00am CST, Fridays at 9:00am CST, for one hour. (You commit to ONE of these times when you start the program). Due to the nature of Leadership needs, this program is open enrollment, and you can join when you need to, instead of having to wait for a new cohort to start. We generally meet the first three weeks of the month, and the final week of the month is for implementation and integration. This is where we dive into what exactly is going on with you, and how to shift things to feel better. These calls are hot-seat style, and because the members of the group are in a similar place to you in terms of practice, you’ll benefit from hearing what they have going on too. Calls are recorded.
3x a month Administrative Office Hours with my Director of Operations Stephanie Stuhlsatz. Mondays at 11:00am CST. (One hour). These are drop in calls that are recorded, where you can dive deep into EXACTLY how we have our clinic set up for systems. All the administrative systems questions are there for the answering. What exactly do we say to patients that have them committed to their treatments plans, without prepaying, without buying packages, without pushy sales techniques? How do track patient retention? How to we organize everything so that we have great flow in the clinic? Same rotation as the group coaching calls. Calls are recorded.
3x a month Skills Lab, with Julie and Stephanie Stuhlsatz, Julie’s Director of Operations and Skills Co-Teacher. The foundation of all of our work together is embodying these 12 micro-mindfulness skills so that you can apply them in every aspect of your life. By incorporating (literally, getting them really comfortable and habituated in your body and your being) them, you expand internal capacity so that you CAN grow. Each week, we focus on one skill in the skills lab and dive deep about its practical application in the clinic, in our lives, how to use it to continually recalibrate the qi of your business to one that feels regenerative.
Resource Library: this has all the of the materials in it that Julie uses in her own clinic. Hiring guides (job descriptions, interview questions, contracts, pay scenarios), front desk guidelines and scripts for heart-centered patient communication, team meeting guides, marketing strategies, branding questions, math problems (no joke—math is magic!). This is an organized library of information that you can pull from wherever you are in your business.
Private Facebook Group: For members of the Lifeflow Leadership Group, as a place to connect with colleagues who are growing in similar ways to you. A place to pose questions, digest experiences and share wins!
One on One Call with Julie: The program includes one 60 minute 1:1 Onboarding call with Julie. Additional one on one calls can be added for a discounted rate during the course of the program.
Voxer Access: Voter is a voice and text app, so that you have support between calls. I typically return messages within 24 hours, M-F. This is the perfect tool to request: language for addressing a complex situation with an employee / patient / human; clarification as you are setting goals; gut checks; support in shifting a downward trend in any aspect of your business that is causing you distress. You have me, and my attention, on speed dial.
Investment
The program is a six month commitment, with the option to continue beyond that as needed. I have tried shorter programs, and what I have observed and experienced is that there is some magic in the six month number, in terms of you experiencing an arc of transformation. I do offer ongoing monthly support as a coaching option after the six month program.
The weekly time investment is to show up to the calls, three weeks out of the month—or 4.5-7.5 hours a month. The primary homework you have is to practice the skills I teach in your day to day business, and to work on your business in a directed, intentional way. It isn’t another thing on your to do list—it actually starts yielding results within the first few days of practice. In terms of additional work, it is done at a pace that is sustainable to you, the change you need and can integrate, and your life. Overwhelm and endless to do lists can choke qi. That’s not my methodology!
The financial investment for the program is reflective of the growth you and your clinic can achieve in our work together. It is foundational coaching that will yield qi, time and money results for years to come—while you feel better in your life and practice. I want to make sure we are an excellent fit, so if you are ready to make the commitment to growing your practice, let's connect on a free 20 minute Q + A Call. I’ll share the program investment amount on the call.
I’ve invested in significant coaching and training myself—business, marketing, health, money, and mindfulness—to help you be the BEST you are capable of. I believe in you. For the past four years, I have been apprenticing with Jade Connelly-Duggan, to complete the curriculum of the Transformational Leadership Graduate Program that was offered at Tai Sophia Institute. I continue my studies in Transformational Leadership, to help grow holistic healthcare access to our communities in a way that is in concert with its basic principles. That is, we are all part of a whole, and as we thrive, our community and environment thrive.
