You built a practice that supports everyone. Except you.
It ends here.
You don’t need more effort. You need systems that support you the way you support your patients. Build a profitable healthcare practice that actually nourishes you.
I help healthcare practice owners implement systems that create consistency in income, schedules, and teams–while expanding their capacity to truly receive support.
What becomes possible when your practice is supported by the right systems:
$208k → $387k in one year
436% practice growth
$300k take-home working 15 hours a week
$40k revenue month - on maternity leave
These aren’t outliers.
These are healthcare practice owners who stopped running their clinics in survival mode—and started running them on systems that create stability, consistency, and growth.
This is what happens when your practice finally starts supporting you back.
Sound familiar?
You end every day depleted. Because you are excellent at giving - to everyone except yourself.
You know it's unsustainable.
You tell your patients this all day long. You became a healthcare provider to help people heal.
But the hyperfunctioning that built your practice is the same pattern that’s wearing you down.
→ The go-to problem solver—exhausted from being the only one who can fix everything
→ Craving support—but unsure how to receive it without guilt. Nobody does it like you do
→ Sitting on brilliant ideas—with no time, energy, or system to bring them to life
→ Over-giving again. Under-receiving again
You’re the one holding it all together.
Which means your practice is dependent on your capacity - not on systems that can actually support it.
You’re too smart to pretend this is sustainable.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re doing it alone.
Your practice is running on nervous system survival mode - instead of systems that actually support you.
That’s the pattern. And patterns can change.
Here’s what staying stuck is actually costing you.
Every month this pattern continues:
→ Revenue missed- because your systems (or you) can’t hold more
→ Patients who needed more sessions- but didn’t come back because they didn’t understand the value of their investment or how your process actually works
→ Team members you didn’t hire- because you didn’t want the hassle or the drama
→ Team members you kept- because they were “better than nothing”… but are they really?
→ Ideas you didn’t get to implement- because you had no bandwidth, trapped inside your current level of success
→ A clinic and a team- but not feeling it in your bank account, because you’re still living the old narrative of the broke healer
→ Your own health paying the price for your practice’s growth (yes, that includes headaches and insomnia)
This is a pattern.
And it’s showing up everywhere.
It’s not going to change on its own.
THE QUESTION IS:
How much longer are you willing to carry it?
THE METHOD
This is why nothing else has worked.
Most business coaching for healthcare providers is built on doing more. More marketing. More systems. More hustle.
That’s Yang. Do more. And it works—until it doesn’t.
Until you’re burned out.
Or running a business that looks good on paper, but doesn’t feel good to live inside.
More- without the internal capacity to sustain it - leads to overwhelm every time.
What’s missing is Yin. The part nobody is teaching you.
Yin is your capacity to receive support. To evolve. To heal your patterns around receiving support. To feel safe growing a business that actually supports you. To communicate your value. To hold a bigger vision of your practice - and yourself. To lead without over-functioning. To respond instead of react.
Without Yin—you burn out.
Without Yang—you stay broke.
You need both. This is my Yin-Yang Practice Method.
The magic is in the micro.
Small, consistent shifts in how you think, lead, and operate can create massive change in your business.
This is why my clients don’t just grow.
They evolve. As humans. As healers. As leaders.
Yin - Internal Capacity & Pattern Change
The 12 Micro-Mindfulness Skills.
Simple, specific practices that recalibrate how you lead, receive, and grow.
This is the foundation of your team culture.
The foundation of going home resourced at the end of the day.
This is the work that actually holds change.
Yang - Business Systems & Ethical Profitability
Clear marketing. Patient retention rooted in relationship and trust. Team structures that support you.
Schedules and pricing that reflect your value.
This is the structure that holds your practice.
The magic is in the micro. Small, consistent shifts in how you think, lead, and operate create massive change in your business.
This is why my clients don’t just grow.
They evolve.
As humans. As healers. As leaders.
From doing it all herself → to Clinic Director of a $1M practice.
Katie came to me maxed out.
She was seeing 45 patients a week, managing part-time associates, patching together admin support, and had just signed a lease on a six-room clinic.
Her practice was growing. But she was already at her ceiling. Everything depended on her.
Within the first six months, she stepped out of direct patient care and hired two more acupuncturists. Within a year, she built out a full massage team and expanded her admin support. Within another six months, her team was running the day-to-day operations— scheduling, insurance, patient coordination.
Not her.
Today, her clinic supports 1,000+ patient visits a month. A $1M practice.
With low staff turnover and real stability. Excellent team culture that her team appreciates. And she works 12–15 hours a week as Clinic Director. She pays herself $250k+ a year—working 12–15 hours a week.
No longer treating. Leading.
So what changed? She learned how to receive support.
Not a better marketing strategy. Not a new system. Not working harder.
She addressed the pattern—the hyper-functioning, “I’ll just do it myself,” nobody-does-it-like-me pattern that keeps so many brilliant healthcare providers stuck at their ceiling.
She built the internal capacity to receive support— and the external systems to hold that growth.
That’s what takes a practice from 45 patients a week to 250+ visits running without you. That’s what changes everything.
KATIE’S STORY

We build the next version of your practice—and how you lead it.Not sure where you fit?
That’s exactly what the free call is for.
I've been exactly where you are.
I built an all-cash acupuncture practice to 150 patients a week, with an eight-person team—in a building I owned.
I know what it takes to build something successful.
And I know what it costs when you build it on over-functioning, pushing, and “more”—and end up burned out in a business you didn’t actually mean to create.
Misaligned.
Overwhelmed.
Since 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of healthcare practice owners grow businesses that are profitable, sustainable, and actually nourishing to run.
Not by telling them to do more—but by helping them receive support, reconnect to their own agency, and implement systems that hold their growth.
This is the Yin and Yang of practice evolution.
This is what changes everything.
I’m Julie Bear Don’t Walk.
I’m here to make healthcare businesses more nourishing for the people running them—because that improves patient care, and that makes the world a better place.
It’s all connected.
What People Are Saying
“I began working with Julie Bear Don’t Walk/ Lifeflow Consulting in 2023. In the first six months, I got clear on how I needed to change up my practice to make it more authentically me and in the next six months, I hired 2 massage therapists and one associate, and rebranded my business. I worked on my systems, reworked everything that wasn’t serving me or my patients. Although that particular associate didn’t work out, it did lead the way for the best associate ever and she’s gotten almost as busy as me in 2 months with the systems we use from Lifeflow consulting. I’m 100 percent sure that working with Julie allowed for true vision, holding me accountable, and getting comfortable to work deeply into a relationship with my business I’d never known before. I’m currently happier than ever in my professional life, I feel more confident as a leader and feel clear as to what the future holds. Every week I utilize the skills I learned with Julie, even though it’s been over a year since we’ve worked together. I’m so grateful for Julie’s vision, leadership, and commitment to her clients. Working with her has revolutionized my practice and my confidence in it. Thank you Julie!!

In my time between patients I scheduled all my posts out until mid May, wrote my next blog post, and wrote and scheduled my next newsletter. It's amazing what can be done in the little blips of time when I reframe my mindset around marketing. I also want to share some exciting news that I would typically keep to myself because I have money issues (inner work in progress). However, my mom encouraged me to share and be proud of my success. So... I am up 67.8% from this time last year! In January 2023 I was renting a room in an office suite that had TERRIBLE qi, but it was inexpensive and it got me out of the toxic group clinic I was previously working at while buying me time to find a more permanent location. I moved to my current location February 1, 2023, where I was able to completely make the space my own and have been told time and again that the feel of it is very nice. So in a sense, comparing January reports is like apples to oranges, but I don't want to crap on my progress so I am just looking at the full Q1 comparison. Thank you so much for everything you have taught us so far! I truly feel like it has made such a difference in both my personal and professional life on so many levels, and seeing the numbers really drives it home.”

“I feel more confident in my skills as a practitioner and am not getting stuck in my head as much, flowing and as a result, seeing three patients an hour generally with ease and on-time I LOVE my work again and as a result, don't feel exhausted at the end of the day in the same way and have space to implement marketing and other things that I have been on my to do list forever. Little shifts like opening up new intakes for booking on JANE...2 new patients booked within 24 hours and two more since then. Using some phrases and charting faster (still more work to do here) I sold more herbs and supplements in November than ever. Working with you over the last year plus has transformed my practice. I feel confident, empowered and in love with my work again. I've gotten the support I need through hiring an admin and am now seeing and helping more people even as I have gradually eliminated insurance and move towards an all-cash practice. I have goals that I am excited and inspired to implement next year. Oh, and love my formula too! Thank you for always meeting me where I am while also pushing me to grow and be okay with that discomfort, offering simple when I complicate and doing all this in a way that feels authentic and nourishing.”

In January 2023, I opened my clinic immediately after I got my acupuncture license. I was technically ready as an acupuncturist (with 15 years of study) at that time, but I am not ready as a business owner.
Julie helped me ramp from 40 patients a week last October(2023) to 70-80 patients (sometimes even 100 patients) a week October 2024. Julie knows the acupuncture business so well and her system really works. She is always cheering, and I have learnt a lot from her in the past year's coaching program, and the money I invested in her coaching program is really worthy. My clinic also grew from one woman show to me and my full time receptionist and I am working to hire another acupuncturist. I can't say enough thanks to Julie for the help I received in her coaching program. Next year, I am still continuing to use Julie as my coach.
I highly recommend Julie!
